At Annapradokshana Charitable Trust (APCT), we believe that healthy communities and a healthy planet are deeply connected. Since 2016, we have been working to address hunger, food waste, environmental degradation, water scarcity, farmer livelihoods, and educational inequality.

Our initiatives include Zero Hunger, Green Shadows, Farmer Livelihood Revitalisation, Water Body Restoration and AAkkam Education Support. We rescue surplus food, create native forests through afforestation, restore water bodies, support farmers with sustainable practices, and help children continue their education.Together with communities, volunteers, donors, and CSR partners, we are building a greener, stronger, and more equitable future for people and the planet.

Annapradokshana Charitable Trust (APCT) is a registered non-profit organization committed to addressing pressing social and environmental challenges through innovative, community-driven solutions. Headquartered in Puducherry, the Trust works across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring regions to promote ecological restoration, food security, sustainable livelihoods, education, and community wellbeing.

Through the Anandhanam Programme, APCT rescues surplus food from weddings, hotels, restaurants, institutions, and social events, ensuring it reaches vulnerable individuals with dignity and care. Unavoidable food waste is scientifically processed into organic compost, promoting a circular economy that minimizes waste while supporting sustainable agriculture.
