Aakkam is our Education Development Programme, designed to support bright, hardworking students from economically struggling families who want to continue their studies but cannot afford to do so. Through full scholarships, mentorship, and continuous support, we walk with them on their journey from uncertainty to confidence. For us, it is not just about education it is about giving someone a real chance at life.
The Problem We See

How We Select Our Students
We take this responsibility very seriously. Every contribution we receive is used carefully to support only the most deserving students. That is why we follow a careful five-step selection process.
✨ Reaching Schools
We connect with government schools and ask them to recommend their top-performing students who face financial difficulties but are eager to study further.
✨ Careful Application Review
Our volunteers spend time reviewing each application. We also conduct two rounds of phone verification to understand the student’s background, situation, and motivation.
✨ Visiting Their Homes
We do not rely on documents alone we visit students’ homes. These visits help us understand their real-life situation, their family conditions, and their determination to continue their education.
✨ Final Interaction
Shortlisted students are invited for a face-to-face interaction in Chennai, where they meet mentors, donors, and well-wishers. This is not just an interview it is a moment where their story is heard.
✨ Full Scholarship Support
Selected students receive 100% scholarship support to continue their higher education. We also stay connected with them guiding, encouraging, and supporting them throughout their journey.
