Our Story
Annapradokshana Charitable Trust (APCT) was established in 2016 by a group of compassionate and socially committed individuals who believed that meaningful change begins with collective responsibility. What started as a humble effort to serve people in need has grown into a dynamic organization working at the intersection of humanitarian service and environmental conservation.
The Trust was founded on a few simple yet powerful beliefs:

Today, APCT has evolved into an integrated development organization that addresses hunger, environmental degradation, climate change, sustainable agriculture, education, and community wellbeing through innovative, community-driven interventions. By combining compassion with sustainability, the Trust continues to build resilient communities while protecting the environment for future generations.

The Beginning
The journey began with a simple act of compassion serving nutritious meals to hungry individuals in memory of a close friend. This heartfelt initiative laid the foundation for what would later become Annapradokshana Charitable Trust.
Establishing the Trust
✨Annapradokshana Charitable Trust was formally registered.
✨Registration No. 2179/2016.
✨The first 50 native saplings were planted, marking the beginning of APCT's environmental conservation movement.
Building the Foundation
✨Obtained 12A Registration.
✨Obtained 80G Registration.
✨Registered under CSR-1.
✨Developed the first Miyawaki Forest, introducing an innovative model for rapid ecological restoration.
Expanding the Mission
✨Launched the Farmer Livelihood Revitalisation Programme (FLRP).

Our Mission
We rescue surplus food from weddings, hotels, and events redirecting it to those in need while converting the remaining waste into compost. Alongside this, we lead native tree planting, pond desilting, and youth-led climate education using proven techniques like Miyawaki forestry. We also support children’s education by running tuition centres, helping with school and college fees, and offering career guidance to shape their future. Every action restores dignity, reduces emissions, and reconnects communities to nature. Our model isn’t just charity it’s circular care. With your partnership, we can deepen our roots and widen our reach.

Founder's Story - "It Began Under a Neem Tree"
Every meaningful journey begins with a moment that changes a person's perspective. For APCT's founder, that journey began with the heartbreaking loss of a close friend. Wanting to honour his friend's memory, he started serving meals to people experiencing hunger. What began as an act of remembrance gradually became a lifelong commitment to serving humanity.
A second life-changing moment occurred while travelling on a scorching summer afternoon. Seeking shade beneath a solitary neem tree, he experienced firsthand the comfort and protection that a single tree could provide. That moment sparked a profound realization that planting trees was not merely an environmental activity but an act of compassion towards future generations.
Inspired by these experiences, he envisioned an organization that would care equally for people and the planet. This vision eventually led to the establishment of Annapradokshana Charitable Trust, where hunger relief, environmental restoration, sustainable agriculture, and community development come together under one mission of creating lasting social impact.
